MOTD (Message Of The Day) WELCOME TO RT ORIGINAL ROUND (70): PERIOD 07/01 - 07/31
Welcome back to a new round! We're starting to make some changes in the next little while to get things moving forward again, so keep on the look out for new updates.
1) We've capped the price of city thugz / glockz / akz, so they do not increment as you control more cities. [What this means is that the city structure has reverted back to the original way it use to be. In previous rounds it has been such that for each extra city you owned, the price of putting city thugz and Aks would double every time you got a new city making it extremely hard or impossible to hold and secure more than one city. This took city hitting and alot of team strategy out so we have changed it back so that no matter how many cities you own, the price of buying thugz and Aks to hold them will not change. Have fun with city hitting!!
2) We've increased the hitmen for hire dollar amount that you can put up. [Hitman for hire means you or someone else can put up a bounty on another player who you want dead. Before, the amount of money you could earn from completing contract kills was not enough to entice alot of it. So, we have dramatically increased the cash limit, now people can pay quads and quads of money for contract kills making it worthwhile for the Hitmen out there. NB: You need to 'accept the job' under Hitman for Hire before hitting that person for the kills to count towards the contract kill.
3) We've increased the bet amount in BlackJack. [Find Casinos in cities such as Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Macau. Maximum bet has been increased to make it more worthwhile, risk big win big. These amounts are not quite high enough just yet for extreme sums to be gambled, but we will work on fixing this up for the new round.

Guide to help some of you noobs to get started in the world of Realthugz. It covers roughly what to do and how to approach starting up as well as covering more in depth things like Pimpin', Extorting, City Hitting, Thugging, Informing or Drug Pushing with dealers.
First 100k Turns:
Whether you are going to be a Pimp, Extorter or Drug Pusher for your first 100k turns you will normally choose recruit with all these to build up your power! (Extortionists may choose to save 20-30k turns to extort!) Its also a good idea to keep 5k - 10k turns for hitting people and moving around (depends on how much you want to do)
When recruiting always recruit in your cartels city or an allied city! You will get more units this way and in the long run it benefits both the city and you! Also if you have a cartel that has already started then you may want to ask fellow members or the cartel leader to donate you some Ak's to start! If this is the case sell these and use the cash to buy the supplies you need (see step 2) You will also need to find out from people in your cartel or from us HelperZ found on the main console page where the best places to recruit are! There are several different places to recruit and each of these is suited to different units! Alternatively, you can run a test for yourself using a small amount of turns and determine which Recruit place gives you the highest amount of thugz, extorters, hoez, informants or dealers or whatever it is that you want!
1) Firstly set your payrolls! They are all preset when you log on but these payrolls don't need to be this high! Set your Payrolls as follows:
Prostitutes - 1%
Thugz - 0%
Extortionists - 0%
Informants - 0%
These will allow you to get maximum cash out of your efforts!
2) Next step is to buy your supplies of Condoms, Meth and Liquor! Sell all your beer, cars and drugz except from your meth! Then divide up the cash and buy JUST condoms, meth and liquor! You will need to buy more meth and condoms than liquor!
3) Right! Now its time to start you recruiting! Make sure you are in your own city or an allied city and then click on recruit (on the left hand navigation bar). If you have been lucky enough to get Ak's from a cartel member then you may be able to start by recruiting at a higher number of turns! If not select the number of turns u want to use (normally 5000) and then select the place you want to recruit! Then finish by clicking the recruit button under these options.
4) As you recruit you will need to buy more supplies and these will sometimes by prompted by onscreen messages. Keep your supplies always topped up or your units may become unhappy and LEAVE! You will also need to keep buying guns for your thugz. Best guns are Ak's but if you cant afford them use glocks. Watch their happiness ratings as you recruit and you will be fine just make sure that Hoez do NOT drop below 50% happiness or they will leave!
5) As you are recruiting you gain more units. You then get the chance to adopt 2x the amount of thugz you have recruited. To do this go to the BLACK MARKET and then to ADOPT A THUG. It will tell you how many you can adopt out of the maximum number with a display like this:

Throughout the game you will either kill or get your thugz killed! You can always re-adopt them as long as you have the cash to do so! Another option is to also keep getting them out of the hospital.
6) Once your turns are gone the last step is to buy some more meth and condoms (not a lot) to keep your hoez safe and happy. With the left over cash buy Ak's or beer to store the cash. When you need some money sell some of it.
THUGGING & PIMPING!!!
A big part of this game is learning to work as a team and to play your role within the cartel. If you are a pimp this involves you having to concentrate on having a large amount of thugz to do the hitting for others who may not be as strong as you. It also involves you having to steal others hoez to make cash for your cartel. Making max cash as you recruit can be done in various ways! You can either pass hoez between other people in the game and other cartels of whom you trust or recruit a bit and go steal your own! (read hoez stealing section)
Passing hoez: To pass hoez to someone you will firstly need to put your hoez payroll to 0%. The other person receiving the hoez will then attack you with "Snatch some Snatch" 6 times until you are copped! If you still have hoez left you will be required to re-set your cops by travelling to another city and back again! Then the other person can take another 6 hits! Repeat this until all hoez or agreed numbers are passed! For you to receive hoez off another person reverse this process!
Stealing Hoez: To steal hoez you must either get their thugz fatigue so high that u can steal them with "Snatch some Snatch" or steal all their drugs so that their hoes will leave them and come to you, or if you zero their thugz and then you are able to steal their hoez! To do this you must find out the cop time. It changes daily by a few minutes! U can either try hitting for an hour and find it that way (SLOW) or ask around and see if anyone knows! There is always a lot of competition when stealing hoez when someone is zero'd so you have to be FAST and ready!
City Hitting: Hitting cities is not hard but takes a lot of time and Ak's! So as a noob to the game you may not have gained enough hoez to make enough cash for the Ak's! When taking cities make sure you are copped! (See general phrases section) then you can sell a lot of ak's for cash in one go and not have the worry of people hitting you for cash or your hoez! ALWAYS buy enough HUMVEES for every 5 thugz! (Divide your thugz by 5) this makes your hits better! So your ready to start hitting now! Then just hit till the city is dead! Your thugz will keep getting zero'd by the city thugz but just keep re-adopting! When you get too high fatigue reset it by travelling with 0 thugz and then back to the city again!
Extorting:
Extorting is a good way of making cash fast and effectively! Anybody can extort but to be a good extorter and to get alot of money from it you will have to recruit extorters from the very begining! Again ask around to find out how many turns to recruit and where for them.
The way to extort is simple! You extort through the downtown grids found on the left hand navigation bar. Each city and grids give you different amounts of cash! so play around and find the best!
Once your ready to extort you will have to scout the cities for the best extorting spots/ downtown grids. You will be looking mainly at grid 11, 6 or 10 (all these being the best)for the highest population:
Commercial: 18,560
Industrial: 23,840
Residential: 9,600
once you have found a good city you will need to buy 1 5-series car for each extorter you have. Then take 6 grids downtown including 11 if possible (if not 10 or 6). make sure you have enough cash and then go to your downtown grid 11. type in the full payoff amount in the 2 boxes provided and then click the payoff button underneath. you will then have to select the turns you want to use to extort! NOTE: the more turns you use the more cash you gain!!! select the turns and then click extort! $$$$
When extorting you cannot let the payoff happiness levels go lower than:
Police: 50%
Local Government: 75%
If this happens you WILL start to lose extortionists!
GENERAL RT PHRASES:
COPS - These guys come to protect you after someone has HIT you 6 times! They reset when you move cities and allow 1 hit every hour after the initial 6 hits!
ZEROED - self explanatory, when someone has 0 thugz!
COPPING - when someone asks you to do this it gives them protection for 6 hours max! Allowing one hit every hour! To do this hit them 6 times for GTA!
SELLING HOEZ - when somebody will offer to give you Aks (through a grid at Downtown) in exchange for your hoez. Be careful as you can get 'jacked' so make sure they pay up front before you give them all your hoez and are left with nothing.

MORE IN-DEPTH GUIDE TO SNATCHING HOEZ!
Tips: get your networth low down keep a small amount of meth (enough to keep your hoez happy and working)and go to most wanted look at the people down the lower part of the ranks with lower networths and look for the people with over 1mil(1,000,000) hoez who havee equivalent amount of thugz to networth...for example if they have 15mil thugz and 15bil networth and a mil hoez, then do one hit of sabotage drug-ops and then snatch all their hoez...For more on Mastering this technique read the game guide in-game Options > THE GUIDE and master your knowledge of what makes up a networth so you can figure out how much drugz a person has so that once you have stolen their drugs you know when to snatch.
HERES A BIG TIP: you all know this message "HITS: YOU CAN'T HIT, THIS PERSON IS OUT OF YOUR RANGE (target needs to be within 10x above or 2x below your networth)" well this is wrong... you can hit people with a networth 5x below urself. This is useful when snatching from people with low net!
COPTIME SNATCHING: ok well as you may have read there is a 'coptime' that passes each hour so that if a person has been hit 6 times and the cops came on them then at this 'coptime' each hour one or maybe two hits will become available on that person. And this means that if a person is zeroed then you will be able to get one hit on them at coptime. If somebody has zero thugz or less than 1mil thugz then you can automatically snatch their hoez... BUT at coptime there will also be other people trying to snatch the hoez so u have to know the exact cop time and keep hitting very fast until you actually get the hit... Also go and snatch from the low networth people whom you know have no drugz but be quick before somebody else does...
A fast rt player is a good one ;)
INTERCEPTING HOE PASSING: if people are passing or selling hoez you can usually tell or see if you continue to check out the World's Most Wanted and monitor the players who are online. If you see they might be doing this then feel free to try and intercept their passing by going to snatch hoez from the target. You must be quick and time it will! Sometimes it is not easy, but you can reap the benefits if you get it right.
